Apple’s Worldwide ‘Developers Conference’ Kicks Off with Keynote Address on June 6th
Apple unveiled its lineup for the tech company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, including Platforms State of the Union and keynote, and shared greater information with developers about what they will experience and learn. Free for anyone who is interested, WWDC22 helps app developers and designers explore the latest frameworks, tools, and technologies coming to iOS, macOS, IPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS. Throughout the busy week, developers will have the opportunity to connect directly with Apple designers and engineers through Digital Lounges and labs for step-by-step guidance on building innovative and platform differentiating applications and games.

WWDC22 will kick off with a first look at groundbreaking news coming to Apple later this year. The keynote address will be available via apple.com, YouTube, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, with on-demand playback available after the end of the stream.
Platforms State of the Union

Developers will gain a deeper insight into how they can take their apps to the next level by diving into the new technologies, tools, and advances across all Apple platforms. Platforms State of the Union will stream via the Apple Developer website and the Apple Developer app.
Apple Design Awards

Year after year, the Apple Design Awards celebrate and recognize the craft, art, creativity, and technical expertise that Apple developers utilize throughout their work. The Apple Design Awards will stream via the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
Access to Experts
Through a series of 175 in-depth session videos, WWDC22 puts together the latest technologies and tools to give developers a starting point in creating the next generation of apps. Apple Developer Enterprise Program members, Apple Developer Program members, and 2022 Swift Student Challenge award recipients can schedule one-on-one lab appointments with experts at Apple for guidance on designing their apps.
In addition to lab consultations and sessions, Apple designers and engineers will host interactive activities all week in Digital Lounges to help creators connect with the community. Attendees can participate in Q&A, try a design or coding challenge, meet session presenters, and much more.
Swift Student Challenge
Apple continues to showcase student developers from around the world as the event gives creators of all ages the chance to show off their love of coding by creating their own Swift Playgrounds app project.
